warmoth stratocaster/partscaster w/hipshot, dimarzio parts & case
Listed by: marco logiudice | Location: Toronto, Ontario
All parts are made in USA. Mint/brand new condition. Very new build that has seen a few hours of play when I first got it back from my luthier, who professionally constructed and set it up. Otherwise has remained a case queen as I spend most of my playtime with my aristides instead. Setup to low action 1mm off the 12th fret on the high e and 1.5mm off the 12th fret on the low e. Buttery playing axe. With the gojira dimarzios it covers everything from jazz to brutal djent. Mainly looking for cash but if you have another guitar with stainless steel frets, a tremolo and hss configuration i’d be interested. Get all the major appointments of a music man or suhr without the huge pricetag.
comes with a padded case. similar to a kiesel gigbag
weight; 7.7 lbs
scale length 25.5″
Warmoth neck; roasted maple with modern construction (2 way truss rod with truss rod access at the heel), thin C neck profile, 10-16″ radius, satin finish, 22 6105 (super jumbo) stainless steel frets, 1.69″ width graphtech tusq nut. rolled fingerboard edges.
warmoth body: roasted ash body, HSH routing, body and forearm contoured, black tuxedo gloss finish
hardware: staggered hipshot open gear locking tuners, hipshot US contour bridge ( tremolo arm and tools included).
electronics: entire cavity and pickguard are shielded with copper tape, 500k cts volume pot with push pull for coil split, 500k cts no load tone pot, 3 way schaller switch, braided shielded hot and ground wiring, 0.047 orange drop capacitor, switchcraft USA output jack.
pickups; Dimarzio PAF 36th anniversary neck pickup and Dimarzio Fortitude bridge. Same pickup set that Joe Duplantier of Gojira uses. Articulate pickups with added girth when you add gain, but retains clarity. Very similar to suhr thornbuckers
Control layout is 3 way blade with push/pull coil split on volume pot and no-load tone pot which essentially means when the tone put is up all the way it takes it out of the circuit for even more brightness/treble/high end (really helps with the single coily sound for the split).
Switch positions when split coil is inactive 1) bridge humbucker 2) both bridge and neck 3) neck
Switch positions when split coil is active (Volume pot pulled up) 1)outer bridge and outer neck coil 2) inner bridge and inner neck coil 3) outer neck coil only
