Mixing console

Here I have a Starsound Dynamix 3000 console. A Classic British Mixing console made sometime late 70’s to the 80’s by Starsound. The Dynamix 3000 has been widely used in the recording industry to master some well known tracks/albums including:
– Jimmy Eat world’s – Bleed American
– The Eurythmics recorded – Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)
– Becks first album Mellow Gold
– Good Charlotte
– Poison
– Rock Kills Kid
– Joe Bonamassa
– The Mannish Boys
Reputed to have been designed by ex Neve engineers who wanted to put some mid level products on the market, shares the same oxford belclare mic transformers as the Neves of the era. Uses a class-a transistor follower attached to a ne5534 opamp to build up a quite respectable mic preamp on 24 of the channels.
Desk specs:
8-48 channels, 8 buses 2 master outs, an assortment of aux send & returns on all channels, various monitor and headphone outputs, +/- 15 DB – 4 band EQ on each channel: Bass Shelf, Sweep-able Mid 1 – 100 > 1200 hz, Sweep-able Mid 2 – 600 > 10,000 hz, High Shelf, EQ bypass, switchable 20db pad, phantom power, phase & line/mic function. 4 aux send buses on each channel. Unusual channel inserts which allow controlling insert send level, then controlling the ratio amount of returned signal to original – allowing it to be either completely wet, partially or bypassed. This has been fully cleaned and inspected. It is completely original and is in great cosmetic condition. I have had three studios appraise it at 11,000$ if it was in good cosmetic and working condition. Due to the fact that I do not have a power supply for it I was not able to test it for function however after the visual inspection and very detailed inspection of the components and how everything looked I have no reason to believe it would not function as it should. For that reason I’m asking for 9500$ to allow the buyer the extra cost for a power supply or any components that there might be any issues with. I will cover shipping to select destinations.
